As of October 2017 we have created a forum for sharing and helping each other with our research. This takes the form of (mostly) monthly meetings where there are one or two speakers who talk about their own research, followed by questions and discussion. Unlike conventional research groups or gakkai, our focus in on work in progress rather than finished work. We find the questions and discussions help us with our developing work.
These meetings are intended for staff (not just the Eibun Gakka), postgraduate students, graduates, and invited friends or colleagues who might be interested. Undergraduates who are interested should ask Dominic Cheetham or Richard Pinner.
We will also sometimes have Creative Drones. These are meetings for sharing and helping each other with creative writing and translation.
The meetings are advertised by mail or PDF and on this page. Those interested should look at the links from this page. You will notice that the flyers are made to be very tongue in cheek. This is to reinforce the fact that while our aims are serious, we do not intend to run these meetings is a formal or overly serious way.
